In 2017, the Department of English at the college expanded its academic offerings by introducing the MA English programme—marking a significant step in its development as a postgraduate department. The department, with its dedicated team of experienced faculty members, continues to provide a rich and intellectually stimulating environment, encouraging critical engagement with literature, language, and cultural studies. With a focus on academic excellence, the department’s dynamic curriculum equips students for research and careers in a wide range of professional fields.
The MA English programme is designed to provide students with an advanced understanding of English literature, language, and critical theories. It fosters an intellectually engaging atmosphere where students explore diverse literary traditions, interdisciplinary approaches, and contemporary cultural discussions.
