Kollam City Police organized a Stakeholders Convergence Meeting to strengthen interdepartmental coordination and collaborative efforts in drug prevention, Child protection and Social policing The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Hemalatha IPS, with Dr. Mehanapriya IAS also in attendance, alongside representatives and heads of various government departments.
Fr. Joby Mathew, District Director, and Sinta Sabu, District Coordinator, DREAM II Kollam, participated in the meeting. The District Coordinator presented the DREAM II Project, outlining its levels of intervention and highlighting key challenges encountered in field-level drug prevention efforts.
The meeting served as an important platform for sharing field-level insights, strengthening stakeholder collaboration, and identifying opportunities for coordinated action towards effective substance-use prevention.
