Women’s Day Celebration

In connection with International Women’s Day, Don Bosco College, Kottiyam, organized a vibrant and meaningful celebration on 09 March 2026 alongside the Kanneerinu Oru Kai programme. The celebration aimed to honour the strength, resilience, and achievements of women in society. The highlight of the Women’s Day segment was a captivating theme dance performed by our students, which beautifully portrayed the struggles and empowerment of women. The dignitaries, including Dr. Devipriya D., State NSS Officer, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment in contemporary society. The programme created an atmosphere of inspiration and reflection, encouraging students to actively contribute towards building a more inclusive and equitable world. The celebration added cultural richness and social relevance to the overall event.
