The amazing session about professional ethics and grooming was taken by Fr. Binny Manuel. He used such simple, direct language that it made a student-necessary class very easy to understand. He took the class in such a way that it was not boring and was really engaging. His class was for a lifetime. He taught us more than we ever knew about interviews and about attaining a job. More importantly, he taught us how to sustain the job. He helped us understand our values, time-value, self-esteem, and much more.
He made sure each student understood everything through activities, expressive words, and actions. He taught that grooming is not just for looks; it shows how we see ourselves and how we value ourselves. Even small details like the length of our tie have their own value. It was truly something to carry for an entire lifetime. For college students, such a practical approach is invaluable. Job-grooming class was priceless. It showed and taught students how to dress, how to talk, and even minute details like sitting, walking, and overall presentation.Father taught us to value ourselves. He taught us to do things out of our ethics and morals, and not for impressing anyone else. Father’s approach to each lesson, each action — it was genuinely a blessing to attend his class. The entire student group who attended the class, are beyond grateful to Don Bosco Arts and Science College and to Fr. Binny Manuel for organizing today’s session.
