Academic Year Inauguration 2026 – 2027

The FYUGP Inauguration Programme for the Freshers of the academic year 2026–27 was held on July 6,2026 in the college auditorium with the objective of warmly welcoming the newly admitted students and their parents while introducing them to the institution’s vision, values, and academic environment.Fr. Joby Mathew SDB, Vice Principal, delivered the welcome address, extending a cordial welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members, parents, and freshers.
The inaugural address was delivered by Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat SDB, Director and Manager, who inspired the students to pursue academic excellence, uphold discipline, and actively participate in the holistic development opportunities offered by the institution.
Dr. Y. Joy, Principal, delivered the presidential address, encouraging the students to make the best use of opportunities available in the college.Representatives from various departments who had secured academic ranks, university positions, and recent placements shared their experiences and motivated the freshers. Students who had achieved distinction in NSS, NCC, and CM Scholarship also addressed the gathering.
The programme concluded with separate interactive sessions, where students met their respective class teachers while parents participated in a parallel session in the auditorium. The inauguration served as a meaningful beginning to the academic journey of the FYUGP freshers, fostering confidence, motivation, and a sense of belonging among the new students.
