COMMERCE – BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS

The Department of Commerce was established in the year 2014 and has been attaining gauging heights ever since its inception. The Department is augmented by 5 teachers and offers UG course i.e. B.com Commerce with Computer Application. Our program is designed to equip students with both foundational business knowledge and practical IT skills, preparing them for the dynamic needs of today’s digital economy. The curriculum combines core commerce subjects like accounting, economics, business law, and Tax with specialized computer application courses, TALLY, database management and e-commerce. The course prepares graduates for careers in sectors like banking, finance, marketing, IT, and entrepreneurship, where a combination of commerce and tech skills are highly sought after. The department emphasizes practical exposure through internships, workshops, and live projects with industry partners, giving students the chance to apply their skills in real-world business environments.
