As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the NCC unit organized a Flag Hoisting Ceremony in the college premises in the morning.
Director Fr. Francis Karakkat and Fr. Jo Fernandez participated in the ceremony and jointly hoisted the National Flag.
NCC CTO Amrutha M and PI staff Sneha D R also participated in the ceremony.
Fr. Francis Karakkat also interacted with the students and spoke about the significance of Independence Day, the value of freedom, and the responsibilities of citizens towards the nation.
The NCC cadets attended the programme with great enthusiasm and discipline.
The programme included the singing of the National Anthem and the National Song by the NCC cadets.
An NCC cadet Amritha L also delivered a speech highlighting the significance of Independence Day, patriotism, national unity, and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
The programme concluded with a strong sense of patriotism and pride among the cadets and participants.
