INKED TALES – Caricature and Literature Exhibition

The Postgraduate Department of English, in association with IQAC and the Department of Malayalam, Don Bosco College, Kottiyam, organized “Inked Tales”, a unique Caricature and Literature Exhibition on 18 February 2026 at the College Auditorium. The exhibition featured an engaging caricature presentation of 50 Malayalam literary bestsellers by renowned cartoonist Mr. Pachan Kottiyam, creatively sketching the spirit and essence of Malayalam literature.

Adding further academic depth to the programme, the Department of Malayalam conducted a quiz competition based on the exhibited works. The quiz enhanced intellectual engagement, encouraged critical thinking, and created a vibrant space for knowledge sharing among students. It added a lively and interactive dimension to the exhibition.

All departments of the college visited the exhibition, interacted enthusiastically, and shared highly positive feedback. Faculty members and students also clarified their queries regarding caricature techniques, symbolism, and creative interpretation directly with the cartoonist, making the session both informative and inspiring.
“Inked Tales” stood as a meaningful celebration of literature, art, and interdisciplinary collaboration, leaving a lasting impression on the academic community.
